About Dar

As a professional speaker, Dar teaches leaders inclusion strategies so that colleges and university stakeholders can close the gap between their intention and action. He helps organization leaders and students learn and practice inclusive leadership frameworks that equip them with the tools to understand their leadership superpowers, have the confidence to open critical conversations, and take action to create change with peers, supervisors, and more!

In Dar's signature talk, Can We All Get Along, I guide audiences through a thought-provoking and insightful analysis of personal stories and leadership strategies. Through reflection and discovery, participants engage in a more profound and meaningful understanding of inclusion, which realizes the true beauty of diversity. In short, Dar helps people get comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Change is hard, and communicating that with others is even more complicated. Creating space to hear stories takes skill and awareness. Dar's work aims to help leaders recognize their stories and set goals to make changes within themselves, their groups, and their communities. Using purposeful, collaborative, strength-based processes, audiences will discuss opportunities to create positive change. Participants will use their lived experiences and apply them to theory and best practices to reimagine their leadership and develop initiatives that increase social responsibility. He leaves audience members with understandable and user-friendly approaches to inclusive leadership; He wants leaders to leave each session with tangible strategies, fundamental knowledge, and a deeper understanding of their inclusive leadership identity.

As a faculty member, Dar helps students turn their academic opportunities into job opportunities by teaching them how to articulate their natural gifts and talents to industry leaders. He provides activities that help students explore their unique and meaningful leadership experiences. He aims to provide students with a clear path to leadership within their field of study. Dar's teaching makes ALL students believe they are leaders by relieving them of their comparison to others. He uses real-world examples that help students identify their strengths and gifts and reflect on leadership activities that bring them closer to their why.

And our students absolutely loved his program. Nothing but positive reviews. A number of students thanked us for bringing him and providing a space for his message.
